Waidroka Bay Resort offers world class Diving at the Beqa Lagoon, Frigates Walls & Passage and the famous Beqa Shark Dive, mind-blowing Surfing at Frigates Passage, Fishing, Snorkelling, Trekking and all that is expected of a Fijian oceanfront adventurer paradise. Less than 2 hours drive from Nadi Airport, Waidroka Bay Resort is located on Fiji’s famous Coral Coast and offers natures very best, both above and below the water.

Accommodation
Each Bure in Waidroka Bay Resort is decorated with a theme in mind. The Sunset Bure, Coconut Bure, the Palm Room and for example the Orchid Bure. They have 3 different styles of bures for different budgets.

Superior Deluxe Oceanfront Bures
The 'Fijian Bure' offers a large living room, combined with stunning coffee table sofa and arm chairs and a king size bed together with a variety of beautiful decorations creating an ambient atmosphere. The seperate bedroom can sleep up to 3 individuals (or kids) , or can be set-up as another double, accordingly. There is a large walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom and of course ceiling fans in all rooms. The Fijian is made to please and will give you a certain amount of luxury combined with a private rainforest setting and tranquility - Enjoy!

Deluxe Oceanfront Bures
The Deluxe Ocean Front Bures are located with magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean, with their own little gardens, on-suite bathrooms, two beds - one queen-size and one full-size (variety of bed constellations available on request), table and chairs, ceiling fan and large decks with sitting corner and 'hammock chair'.

Panoramic Oceanview Rooms
Panoramic Ocean-View Rooms are located with magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and our private lagoon from a hilltop above the Resort, with on-suite bathrooms, one bedroom – with queen-size double bed and one full-size single bed (different set-ups available on request), table and chairs, ceiling fan and a large verandah. The Panoramic Ocean-View Rooms are located in a completely new complex on the ‘hill–top’ above the resort and enjoy the best views of the resort, looking over the sea and seeing as far as the islands in the distance. The views are exceptional especially at sun-rise and sun-set.

Diving
Waidroka Bay Resort is located close to the world famous Beqa Lagoon and the amazing variety of local reefs offer an exceptional diving experience. Coral Coast diving offers unexplored diving as well as many dive sites of world renown such as sites in and around Beqa Lagoon. Every dive site has something special or unique to see and dives range from safe and easy to wall dives in fast currents.

Beqa Lagoon is surrounded by over 190 miles of spectacular coral reef. Within the lagoon, the water is clear and warm, visibility is typically over 100 feet, currents are mild, and the water temperature stays a fairly constant 80 F (26C). Many of the most spectacular dive spots are only a few minutes from shore, and if you stayed long enough, you could explore over 100 different reefs!

A number of times per week, it is possible to join the world-famous Beqa Shark feeds directly from the resort. The resorts dive boat will take you and your dive guide to a special site inside the lagoon where many bull sharks, silver tips, grey nurse and the occasional tiger shark meet to be hand-fed by dive masters from Aquatrek or Beqa Adventure Divers. These sharks have been studied for many years; the larger ones are about 9ft/3m long, and it is an awesome experience to see them circling only metres away from the divers. These dives need to be booked in addition to the regular accommodation/dive packages.

Surfing
Surf the Fiji Pipeline! “Voted one of the best two waves in Fiji.” Powerful, fast developing world class left with prevailing offshore winds, Frigate Passage (also known as Fiji Pipeline) is located on the southwestern barrier reef of the island of Beqa, just a short distance from Waidroka Bay Resort. Frigate Passage offers the ideal conditions that naturally generate these kind of world class waves. Come surf the Fiji Pipeline and live the island way without the crowds, stress, and traffic of the mainland.

Other Activities

Apart from diving and surfing, fishing is also a very popular activity whilst staying at Waidroka Bay Resort. Other activities can be arranged for you: bird watching, volleyball, golf, massages, sea or river kayaking, jet boat riding, white water rafting, village and rainforest tours ... or simply relax by the pool whilst enjoying a cocktail!

Getting to/from Waidroka
Waidroka Bay Resort is located on the main island of Viti Levu, right on the famous Coral Coast between Nadi and Suva. The resort can be reached from Nadi Airport by car. The ride will take about 2 hours and can be arranged upon booking.
