The
fastest cat to the Great Barrier Reef - brand-new luxury!!
Sleek, smooth and sun-kissed, Silversonic is ready to explore, eager
to whisk you away for a day of adventure with others who seek the
thrill of discovery. Silversonic is a brand-new luxury catamaran
designed for water based adventure activities. It can take up to
80 passengers and usually has more snorkellers than divers on board.
Silversonic is the fastest trip out to the reef, with a maximim
speed of 32 knots. She is stable and offers a very good compromise
for diver/non-diver groups.
Dive Sites
Careful consideration is taken by the Silversonic team when choosing
the reef sites during the day. The time of the year, weather, tides,
water clarity and the abundance of marine life, all impact on the
choice of location for the day.
There is a multitude of marine life at Agincourt Reef from tiny
iridescent fish seeking shelter in their coral homes to massive
giant clams weighing up to 200kg (440lbs). Perhaps you will see
a small harmless reef shark or a boulder coral hundreds of years
old.
Whether you are diving or snorkelling, experienced or a novice,
the Silversonic crew with their 25 years of combined experience
will show you the best there is to see.

Features
- Snorkelling: Visit spectacular Agincourt reef at the
very edge of the Great Barrier Reef and spend a leisurely five
hours at play amongst the colourful coral and marine life. All
your snorkelling gear is provided. So there is nothing to hold
you back!
- Introductory Diving: Discover scuba diving. Diving is
for everyone... including those who have never dived before. While
snorkelling allows you to view fish and coral from above the reef,
diving allows you to experience the underwater world close up,
explore the coral and swimming with the fish. If this is your
only chance to see the Great Barrier Reef, make sure you experience
all you can by diving it. We have been taking people to the reef
for over 18 years and all Dive Instructors are professionally
qualified PADI Instructors. There is still plenty of time to enjoy
all other activities on board with family and friends. Please
note a medical form must be completed on board.
- Certified Diving: Certified divers can enjoy up to three
dives, with introductory divers able to do a second dive if they
choose. Snorkellers can explore spectacular coral formations and
underwater gardens teeming with vibrantly coloured marine creatures.
The locations vary with the conditions, however each site is chosen
for visual impact, ecological diversity and the challenge of discovery.
