Departs: Daily ex Cairns & northern beaches and Mission Beach.

A great introduction to white water rafting, yet provides enough excitement to satisfy your thirst for adventure. Departs daily, travelling to the Upper Gorge of the Tully River in our air-conditioned, double decker, video equipped coach.

Enjoy a BBQ lunch on the banks of the river and a chance to take in the spectacular scenery. Then back to the action in the foaming white water of the Lower Gorge.
The entertainment does not stop there - we all meet after the trip to dine, where screams of laughter abound as we watch the day's action video before we take you and your memories home.

This river is controlled by a power station guaranteeing excellent levels all year round.

Itinerary

0700: Pick up from accommodation and travel to Tully township
0845-0915: Comfort stop and rendezvous with fellow rafters at Raging Thunder Cafe, Tully
0915-0945: Transfer to start point on river
0945-1200: Raft the Upper Gorge after safety briefing and instruction on paddling.
1200-1230: Stop for BBQ lunch on river bank.
1230-1430: Raft the Lower Gorge to end point.
1430-1645: Change into dry clothes and travel to a Cafe for the light evening meal
and photo and video viewing of your days action.
1645-1830: Return to accommodation
